Depending on the application different types of DiaCell® are available. A DiaCell® module can have one or several compartments and several DiaCell® can be installed to increase treatment capacity. DiaCell® enables oxidant production by direct electrolysis for diverse water-treatment applications.
The most versatile DiaCell® is the DiaCell® 100. It can be assembled with from 1 to 4 compartments (versions 100 to 400), each being fed water by internal parallel feeds. In DiaCell® with multiple compartments, the separating electrodes are floating bipolar diamond electrodes (patented concept) and the electrode gap can be fixed between 1 and 10 millimeters. DiaCell® 100 is normally equipped with BDD electrodes and it is particularly suitable to operate under polarity reversal with water that exhibits hardness. A specific version to operate in high temperature media is also available.
For waste water treatment applications with hardness-free water, the recommended module is DiaCell® 1001. This DiaCell® is a 2-10 compartment module equipped with BDD electrodes as anodes and stainless steel cathodes. The high capacity and highly efficient DiaCell® 1001 modules are recommended for use in modular Adamant® WWT systems.
Mini-DiaCell® is a small-capacity treatment module based on Adamant®-Electrodes.
Mini-DiaCell® is dedicated to applications that only require a small surface of diamond electrodes.
A new product based on the DiaCell® concept is currently under development for applications that require huge treatment capacities.
Power supplies, DiaCell®-PS, specifically developed to operate with DiaCell® modules, are available in several versions as options. These power supplies are low voltage, current tunable and offer polarity reversal functionality with tunable frequencies. Several versions of DiaCell®-PS (PS150, PS500, PS1000 and PS1500) are available with increasing maximum output currents.
